HOW TO USE DIGITAL LIBRARY SERVICES ? 

To use the digital library services the patron must have a user account on Online Public Access catalogue (OPAC) of CENTRAL LIBRARY GCE KALAHANDI. To access the account under OPAC the patron can use firstname.surname as their login id and for the first time patron can use 12345678 as their default password. Once logged in, the default password can be changed under the change your password tab.

To search a book in the OPAC of CENTRAL LIBRARY GCE KALAHANDI the patron can follow the below steps: -

The patron can use the search bar provided at the top of the OPAC to search any book present in the library or a patron can also click on the ‘Advanced search’ tab to perform a more detailed search.
After performing a search, the number of results found for your search will appear in the screen.
When a patron clicks on a title of the book from the search results, you’re brought to the bibliographic detail of the record.

To hold an available book in the OPAC of CENTRAL LIBRARY GCE KALAHANDI the patron can follow the below steps: -

To the right of the bibliographic details, you’ll find a series of boxes. In that series of boxes, there is a place hold option which is used to keep hold on the available books on the CENTRAL LIBRARY GCE KALAHANDI.

To view & renew the issued books from CENTRAL LIBRARY GCE KALAHANDI the patron can follow the below steps: -

The patron needs to click on your summary → checked out tab in order to view the issued books from CENTRAL LIBRARY GCE KALAHANDI.
